Apex TVs
Apex is an electronics company from California. They produce various televisions, DVD players and other media devices. The company Apex became famous / infamous as a result of a line of DVD players they sold that contained a secret menu with the ability programmed in to get around Macrovision copy protection and regional lockout codes. This secret menu was denied knowledge of by the Apex company, which said that it was only there as a result of tampering by the Chinese manufacturers. The Apex DVD player became a hot eBay buyable and was eventually banned by eBay.
After the famous DVD player that was produced by Apex, the company made a line of Apex TV products. Apex brand televisions are LCD model televisions with high definition pictures. Besides the Apex television lines that are produced by the Apex television company (such as the Apex 27 inch TV, 20" Apex flat screen television, Apex projection screen TV / Apex projection TV and so on) the company is currently producing a line of portable media players. While the Apex company has had serious trouble within the past few years due to non-payment of debts, it is still running and it is possible to get Apex television customer service / Apex TV trouble shooting, Apex TV manuals / the Apex television service manual and the like. Apex television reviews have been generally positive and the company reports itself as being one of the fastest growing electronics manufacturers in the state.
There is no reason to look for a password for an Apex TV or Apex TV codes because the TV products developed by Apex do not share the same kind of "loopholes" menu that the DVD player they produced for a time did (and the company no longer produces that DVD player, having sworn that they were not responsible for the inclusion of the copyright circumnavigation menu and that it was entirely the action of the Chinese company that provided them with the chips). Those who would be looking for the loopholes menu in an Apex product would need to instead try and purchase one of the old Apex DVD players, although it is possible that this could be a difficult thing to find, as the authorities in charge of eBay have banned it from that particular auction site under the auspices of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The Apex DVD player remains a hot collector's item.
