Most audio cables aren't made for microphone applications so you need the correct one if you want the best possible connection and performance.

Probably one of the things that audio cables are mostly used for is to hook up computer and stereo systems. The breakdown of these cables happen often so you will need the best audio cables possible. Audio cables are need to provide top notch sound while your listening to your favorite music or if you are running your favorite computer application. May people often ask what is the difference in audio cables and digital audio cables. This is really a simple question with a really easy answer. Digital audio cables sound alot better and you have less loss of sound and distortion. Now don't get me wrong audio cables are very good, but not as good as digital audio cables though. Audio cables for the most part are also cheaper than their digital counterparts. Both do excellent jobs, but if you can afford it I would go with digital audio cables if possible.
