DVR
DVR stands for digital video recorder and it's something that has changed the way America does things. The DVR has made our lives alot easier and will continue to do so for many years to come. The DVR has given us the opportunity to spend more time with our families and enjoy life in general. let's look at the reasons for this. The DVR lets you stop pause and even fast forward a television show. it also lets you record any show even if your not their. This means you can actually be at Johnny's soccer game while the DVR is doing it's work. In fact you can record a bunch of shows and watch them whenever you want. It makes your life easier as you can watch the shows when you want.
When the DVR came out it was quite expensive and now the prices are starting to come down as more companies are making them and the demand has grown for them. Even some of the cable companies will let you lease one which means you never have to buy one as long as you keep up with your cable bill. Direct tv dvr is a DVR that comes with a paid programming package when you order service from them. many people have never heard of a DVR as strange as that may sound to some people. The technology is still new and unless you belong to cable companies that have it many people don't know about this great device.
It's especially a great device if you watch television alot. You can be watching one show while recording another one. You just can't beat that no matter what anyone tells you. It's just a great thing to have. More and more people are getting on the DVR bandwagon and I would say in the next five years you will see them maybe replace the DVD player somewhat. Not totally replace it but come mighty close. It gives you alot of advantages that the DVD player just can't do. It will be interesting to see how well it takes off in the next few years and if it's going to be the device of choice for most Americans. I know it's my device of choice and wouldn't trade it for anything as it makes my life easier.
